Hereby, am sharing my First Hand experience with the backwater destination at Alleppey. On a pleasant morning, around 6'o clk, we have started from Allappat Home stay . Mr. Raju Joseph who owned the same, arranged the boat ride for us. Alappat Homestay - where we stayed Alappat Home stay We got in to the Shikkara boat for which they have charged Rs.500 per hour, the person who was rowing the boat welcomed us with a pleasing smile. The boat gradually started moving and it was really a different experience for us, enjoying the panoramic view along with the ride.
